There are few things in this world as satisfying as biting into a moist delicious turkey leg and rending meat from bone. If you share my carnivorous food lust, this recipe is for you. In the past, I would have to visit the local theme park or carnival to enjoy a moist and delicious smoked turkey leg, but now I can make them at home.

Moist Delicious Smoked Turkey Legs Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 gallon of water
- 1/2 cup salt
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons onion powder
- 2 tablespoons thyme
- 2 tablespoons sage
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1/2 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
Instructions
- In a large bowl mix together all ingredients.
- Using an injector, inject each muscle with liquid.
- Add turkey legs to the remaining liquid and refrigerate overnight (at least 6 hours).
- Smoke for 3 hours at 225° in smoker.
- Smoke for 1 1/2 hours at 250° in smoker.
- Enjoy!
